Manish Srivastava, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Srivastava is a geriatrician with additional specialties in hospice and palliative medicine. After completing his degree at Medical College Baroda, he and over 20 years of experience. He received his degree from Medical College Baroda, completed his residency in the Cleveland Clinic Health System, and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

The older a resident gets they’re much more fun to interact with. They have so many different stories and they talk about life experiences. That really enriches you, and it just gives you a very different feeling of completeness. It’s not just that you take care of them, it’s what they teach you while you are taking care of them, I think that’s a beautiful aspect of back and forth, which I enjoy most in geriatrics.

Babu Gupta, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Gupta is an adult and geriatric psychiatrist. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, completed his residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

I really enjoy geriatric psychiatry for a number of reasons. One is that I love to hear the history of people that have lived a full life and have a history to share. I find that very fascinating. I love hearing about what they worked out, problems they’ve had over their lives, successes they’ve had, their children or grandchildren—I find that very interesting and am kind of a student of history.

Jagdish Bhati - Founder

Seeing your loved one rejuvenated. Seeing them content. Seeing them at peace.

These are the aspirations that led Jagdish Bhati to found this Cincinnati-based senior living memory care facility in 2017.

Having grown up in a multi-generational home in India, Jagdish saw the unique demands of dementia and how it could differ so vastly from other geriatric illnesses.

He realized it wasn’t possible to adequately (or safely) care for someone with dementia in a general way. This is a specialized illness that requires specialized care.

So Jagdish decided to create his own premier senior living memory care facility with one mission: to be a safe haven for those suffering from dementia. Serene Suites does this by offering deeply personalized, dynamic care plans that fit residents’ needs perfectly (and adjusted according to their condition), highly curated routines and activities, and compassionate care partners who understand the unique needs of people suffering from dementia.

Edward Gossman is our Chef and Culinary Director here at Serene Suites. He has been with the community since late 2019, several months before Serene Suites opened to serve seniors from the Cincinnati area and beyond. Edward has been involved in the food services industry for over 30 years, having owned and operated his own restaurants, as well as providing food services for seniors over the last decade of his career. Ever since early childhood Ed has held a soft spot for seniors, so after moving on from the restaurant industry it was only a natural fit for him to transition into taking care of seniors as a full-time profession. When asked about his thoughts on creating great meals for our seniors he has this to say:
