A Career Built on Compassion

Nathan Gruber has spent 28 years in the senior living industry, and his path began long before it became a profession. As a high school student, Nathan volunteered in local nursing homes, drawn to the opportunity to serve older adults meaningfully. That calling stayed with him through college, where he balanced hands-on work as a Resident Caregiver with completing his Bachelor of Science in Gerontology.

Today, Nathan serves as President and CEO of Next Gen Management LLC, operating as Serene Suites, an assisted living and memory care community in Blue Ash, Ohio. He holds a state-licensed Nursing Home Administrator credential (License No. 6209) and leads with one central conviction: every resident deserves dignity, joy, and compassionate care each day.

Nathan's leadership is distinguished by the depth of his personal investment in the residents he serves. Family members and close friends of his live at Serene Suites. This reality grounds every decision he makes as a leader.

For Nathan, memory care is never routine. Whether a resident is navigating early-stage cognitive decline or an advanced form of dementia, he brings the same love and attentiveness he would offer his own family. His mission is to ensure every resident, family member, and team member at Serene Suites feels seen, supported, and valued.

Life Outside Serene Suites

Away from work, Nathan stays active through football, basketball, and fishing. He is a steadfast supporter of the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cincinnati Reds, and Notre Dame. At home, his Doberman, Vada, rounds out the family.
