All care partners at our senior living memory care center are trained by our in-house Dementia Expert, who covers dementia-specific behaviors ranging from sundowning, to wandering, to hoarding, and much more, so carers can lead with knowledge, empathy, and understanding.
Our Care Approach
At the heart of what we do.
Jagdish Bhati founded Serene Suites on the belief that people suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s deserve to feel safe, looked after, and understood - at all times.
Through highly tailored, compassion-led senior memory care, we’re able to continuously meet your loved one’s unique cognitive needs and create an environment in which they can live peacefully.

How we do this
Tapping into the power of specialized care.
From the most seemingly minute decisions (like the color of our dining chairs), to big-picture decisions (like who crafts the personalized care plan for your loved one), all of our choices are designed to deliver comfort, contentment, and security to our residents.
Passionate about making a difference.
By holding our staff and care partners to the highest professional and personal standards, we are able to do justice to the responsibility entrusted to us: giving each resident the best quality of life possible.

"Lisa Cromer-Jones, LPN
Memory Care is where my heart beats; it is a reciprocal relationship. In attempting to help them find joy and purpose, I find my joy and purpose. In attempting to help them become the very best versions of themselves, I become a better version of myself.

The older a resident gets they're much more fun to interact with. They have so many different stories and they talk about life experiences. That really enriches you, and it just gives you a very different feeling of completeness. It's not just that you take care of them, it's what they teach you while you are taking care of them, I think that's a beautiful aspect of back and forth, which I enjoy most in geriatrics.
Babu Gupta, MD, Medical Director
Dr. Gupta is an adult and geriatric psychiatrist. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, completed his residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
"Babu Gupta, MD
I really enjoy geriatric psychiatry for a number of reasons. One is that I love to hear the history of people that have lived a full life and have a history to share. I find that very fascinating. I love hearing about what they worked out, problems they've had over their lives, successes they've had, their children or grandchildren—I find that very interesting and am kind of a student of history.
The Serene Suites Mission
Seeing your loved one rejuvenated. Seeing them content. Seeing them at peace.
These are the aspirations that led Jagdish Bhati to found this Cincinnati-based senior living memory care facility in 2017.
Having grown up in a multi-generational home in India, Jagdish saw the unique demands of dementia and how it could differ so vastly from other geriatric illnesses.
He realized it wasn’t possible to adequately (or safely) care for someone with dementia in a general way. This is a specialized illness that requires specialized care.
So Jagdish decided to create his own premier senior living memory care facility with one mission: to be a safe haven for those suffering from dementia. Serene Suites does this by offering deeply personalized, dynamic care plans that fit residents’ needs perfectly (and adjusted according to their condition), highly curated routines and activities, and compassionate care partners who understand the unique needs of people suffering from dementia.
Kind words from the families of our residents
Being able to visit our loved one in a safe and secure environment has reduced our stress enormously. It’s evident when we visit how much she enjoys being surrounded by the loving staff. She often refers to the staff members as “my friends”.
From that first day, she was welcomed as family. She immediately developed a strong bond with the entire staff. She was home.
